Legende
An historic battle took place on the 14th of October 1066 between King Harold II of England and William the Conqueror, Duke of Normandy. The Duke invaded England with 7,000 soldiers and confronted King Harold's army, which had just returned from a battle with the Norwegians.
Williams troops were more fresh and better equipped which lead to their triumph in battle during which Kind Harold was slain. The crowning of William signified the last successful invasion of England and the end of the Viking era.
